Hi my name is "That Coffee Dude" and I'm an addict...
Well that's not totally true, my name is actually Shane and I'm an Aussie.
As an Aussie it's ingrained in our culture to be self-appointed coffee snobs. It's hard to believe I know, how could such a laid back easy going culture be so opinionated about a roasted bean beverage?
I'm sad to say I don't have the answer to that question, however, I take my self-appointed role seriously. Very seriously. So seriously in fact, that I made my own website in an effort get my message out to everyone and anyone who'll listen.
Now over the years, I've turned my nose up at a lot of coffee in search of a great cup. A LOT of coffee. I've tried all the various ways of making coffee, from freeze dried powdered form to boiling grinds on an open fire.
I've tried coffee from every major coffee chain, right through to the not so major ones. I've tried coffee from restaurants, truck stops, sports clubs and even a barber shop when I was getting my do...done. You get the picture. I try my darndest to have a cup every chance I get.
Dude, what's the point to all this?, I hear you say. Glad you ask! The thing is, after all this "research", I keep coming back to the unlikeliest of coffees as my favourite and it's a sachet too!
I can hear all the Aussie's in the group gasp in horror at the thought of a packet coffee, but hear me out. THIS COFFEE IS THE BOMB! It's full of stuff that's good for you and it tastes bloody fantastic!
What is this magic potion full of witchcraft? Beforeyouspeak (it's the actual brand name...) and my blend of choice is their performance variety, The OG.
The good people at Beforeyouspeak have devised a cunning recipe that incudes Turmeric, MCT Oil, Siberian Ginseng and of course; sustainably sourced Arabica Coffee. This stuff gives me the get up and go I need of a morning while helping with the painfull inflamation I get from an old dirtbike accident. It also packs the punch required to break down that damn wall I seem to hit at about 3pm every day...
I really believe the added Turmeric helps reduce the inflamation in my bad knee and that the Siberien Ginseng helps reduce the stress I see during my average day. Throw in the mental boost of the MCT Oil and you've got one wicked mix of high performance goodness to give you a sustained kick in the pants!
So whats the point of letting you know about the benefits? So I can get you into some of course!
The good people at Beforeyouspeak have given me a link to "The OG" on their website to share with anyone who'd like to get some. In the spirit of full disclosure, yes I make a few bucks off every sale I organise, but the coffee is still the regular price. Rest assured there's no price gouging going on here!
So without further ado here's the link to best darn coffee I've found in my travels;
